Skeletober #25 - Grand Skeletron

In October 2016, while other artists participated in #inktober, I did #Skeletober! The idea being to draw many pictures of Skeletor, the famous overlord of evil from Mattel's classic Masters of the Universe action figure franchise, throughout the month, all while experimenting with different styles and mediums.

To cap it all off, the 25th and final Skeletober entry is a Japanese style combining robot themed after Skeletor and his henchmen! Behold the scourge of Cyberternia, Grand Skeletron!

• Right Leg - Trap Jaw - Crane
• Left Leg - Tri-Clops - Helicopter

I really wansted to go all-out on this illustration. I spent longer on this one than any other Skeletober entry, much longer than I should have, but even still I wish I could spend more time to make it even better. For what it is, it’s good enough and still pretty cool. Unfortunately I missed most everyhing going on for Halloween while working on it that day. But it got lots of attention on Twitter so I suppose it was worth it. Besides, I was in the Halloween spirit all month long while drawing Skeletor!
