First off, I'm finally getting around to uploading some images that I've been wanting to share for a long time. When I was in school for Video Game Art in 2013, one of the classes was about Prototyping. For the final project, we had to turn a video game  into a board game or card game to learn about how game mechanics and create the art assets. So, I picked the Scott Pilgrim Vs The World game.

I drew many of the characters from the game/comic/movie and I wasn't sure if I should just upload them all at once in one large image, or if I should have each drawing on its own. I've decided to take away all the game-related text and just showcase each of the character drawings individually. I will upload them a few at a time every once in awhile, so there are more to come! Also, there are several characters that I didn't draw for the project but I still want to, so maybe I am not actually done yet!

Over the past few months I have been experimenting with online streaming, where I will broadcast online while I am drawing. People can watch me draw and chat with me. I've got a really great set-up going and so I would like some input on how to build an audience.

Here is my streaming site: Ninjatron's Picardo Channel

Would you actually watch me streaming my artwork?

What would you like to see me draw while streaming? What would you not care about seeing? Fan art, original stuff, goofy doodles, etc?

What would be the best time to stream? Would you want to know well before hand? They are usually pretty spontaneous but typically I'll stream after 10pm EST.

How should I announce that I am streaming? Usually I post on Twitter and I've tried using the status posts on dA to announce a stream, but I'm not sure how that works and if anyone sees them. This is the most important feedback you can give me right now.

Anyway, from watching other artist's streams I know it can be pretty fun. You get to see new processes and give and get feedback. Plus, there is music, and I have a crazy playlist where anything can happen! It's full of anime music, movie songs, video game soundtracks, and much more. So please let me know what you think and I'll be sure to use that feedback to help let people know when it's happening.

One last thing I wanted to mention. Chad Fuller was a great guy who followed and supported my art, as well as many other artists here on dA. I know he was struggling with several medical issues for a long time, but he did his best to keep his spirits up and let us know how he was doing. I was sad to hear that he had passed away back in January. I wanted to say that deviantArt did a really classy thing when they put up a tribute to Chad, and it meant a lot to me to see them acknowledge someone who was such an important part of the dA experience to so many people. He was a real inspiration and I will do my best to follow his example.

Sayonara.

I would love to watch your art!
I usually have the most time for streaming on the weekends, but sometimes I have have time in the late evenings on weekdays. :XD: I've been changing my schedule around, so hopefully I'll have more free time for stuff.
